We were tasked by our client with replacing the original French Doors in this prestigious property near Kew Gardens in London.
The goal was to open up the entire space with a Bi-folding Door while retaining the authenticity of the glazing bars present on the original timber doors. Considering the need for a maintenance-free solution, we specified the new Sheerline Prestige Bi-folding Door, currently the only aluminium system in the market with an authentic plant-on astragal bar system, replicating the original timber Georgian bars.
The end result was a tasteful and sympathetic replacement, seamlessly blending with the remaining windows in the property. Additionally, we replaced a second-floor Timber Sash Window through our sister company, www.arktimberwindows.co.uk.
